i was on the kent cam web site and they offer a perforence chip for 150 which will release 20bhp (wiv cams) but i dont know weather to get a lexmaul manifold first, or maybe velos cos its cheaper, ive got all this money and dont know what to spend it on, any advice boys?

get the velos torque tube, dta engine management system and cams all in 1 go.

£150 is chip + £350cams + jobs£???-> is 20bhp,and, in 1.4 you got to be very very lucky to get that out, id say thats impossible, they can say what they like...
with the inlet manifold youll get seriously from 1.4 at least around +-15bhp.
get the velos and get some real gains.
take your time read this seriously and get the whole picture. dont mind its about 1.6 cos what tey say is about XE engines...

velos is almost the same, but its cheaper, same idea.
if you have the money go for mantzel!!!

get the velos tube wiv the superchip they do. only heard good things about it. they quote a 30% power gain. don't know how accurate that is but hey!

All i see is post after post from this guy.
Your trying to squeeze as much power from yuor 1.4 as possible, ok, but if you've got £1k, why not just get another £500 quid and put a 2.0litre in.
A) it would save to constent same posts every time
B) More power than the 1.4
C) Easier to do!
