ive heard u can get astra gte shafts tapered to use in a corsa when fitting c20xe, can someone explain wot exactly this means, i know its done on a lave(spelling) and i know someone who has one so will he be able to do it for me, are there any measurements or anything he needs to know and does he need to hubs from the gte? i thought the whole point of doin this was so the shafts fit in the corsa hubs neway
bit confused, please help

you can use astra gte shafts/cvs which fit fine with cossvaux modded hubs to take the bigger cvs.

there either to long or to short cant remember but i no you cant use them.

u can use thenm dan (J100RSA) is using GTE shafts and Cross vaux modded hubs

hubs are about 80-90 quid a side
plus youll need new bearings.
i know a guy locally who is selling some vauxtillde for 30 quid i think.

Yes u can use gte shafts as that is what im running and i aint got no probs and done well over 1k on them

no apparently they are exactly the same size, youll need new wheelbearings from vauxhall and hubs from cossvaux to take the bigger cvs.

so id need to pay 78quid for the bearings and the 90quid a hub from cossvaux - do you know a website for cossvaux or contact number?

Give em a ring and see what they say. They seem like they know there sh#t when it comes to engine conversions on corsa's.
