Mates
All of a sudden, the car does'nt seem to idle properly. It fluctuates between 750 and 1500 RPMs like crazy. Could someone help me with that cause it is really irritating.
I own a corsa b 1.2i 8v. Thanx a million

Check idle control valve and you have no splits in any intake pipes

got the same problem m8. ive got a 1.4 8v sri, and it revs like crazy. ive changed the oxygen or idle valve, which didnt make any difference. i soaked the whole air system in diesel to get rid of all the build up of dirt, which didnt make a diiference.
i think it could be the wires leading to the idle control sensor, cos if i move them when the cars reving it tends to drop down to 900 rpm. pain in the arse though, when i drive the car kangaroos at low revs.

I've got the exact same problem, i'll take the ICV and give it a clean and check the pipes, if its not this then it could be the Throttle positioning sensor.
