As above, basically im sick of my 1.2 8v engine, and want to transplant a bigger engine into my car.
Im only 18 now, but i wanna look out for the parts ill need/save up etc.
Im paying £1200 FC with liv vic, and all modds declared, what are people around 19/20 years old paying for similar cover on 1.6/2.0 corsas?

2.0 16v is group 13 i think whereas a 1.6 sport is only group 8 i think...probably wrong though!

2.0 16v is a higher group as it gets classed the same as the donor car it came out of, so ur talking about 15

if u go with a company like liverpool vic then the 1.6 will be cheaper because they dont add money to ur premium for engine mods unless u change the cc or amount of valves

no the tigra is based on the same floorpan as the Corsa, so handling is just as crap Adam.

think a 1.6 is the way then, prob tune it a bit (just mild things like exhaust, inlet manifold etc.
Its just finding a 1.6 engine, there pretty rare at scrappies (most r trashed or very pricey)

Neshol, im only sayin what i was told when i asked bout engine mods, i was told that premium will only increase if u change the cc of engine or number of valves!

Mate I think they meant it will only increase if you do mods that increase bhp.
