Anyone know on here how long it takes a cheque to clear at barclays?

as some banks take 3 days sum take 7.

Think it's shorter if it's the same bank i.e. Barclays to Barclays...

takes the bank abut 2 seconds to clear it, they just hang onto it for a few days to get the interst

my chuequ takes 3days from barcleys to natwest but its been paid in my account same week every mionth for the last 2 years

Minimum of 3 working days (unless it's the same bank, and the same branch, in which case I think it's done more or less straight away).

Cashed one yesterday I was told it would be about 5 days......

The cheque was Barclays Im with Natwest.

always 3 working days as sam says,if its same branch they can call up the other branch an do itimmediately.
