is it worth getting these 6x9s? cheapest price i've seen them for is £95, anyone seem them cheaper?

i saw some kenwood 6x9s in my local carshop and they were 48 quid and they were 140 watts

kemp, kenwood ones are 50?
intacepta, thought the bass was made by the cone and the midspeaker/tweeter were the ones in the centre?
i've currently got some cheap kenwood ones at the moment but they arn't exactly any good which is why i'm looking at something a bit better.

thats what i thought aswell,
the midspeaker is soooo small tho, pretty much the same size as the tweeter.
sorry, its just i don't know too much about 6x9's.

I think you will find its just two tweeters, the cone itself provides as much sub/mid bass as it can.

dont bother, get a sub and have companents up front.

when you go to a gig, to you turn your back to the stage?
its the same principle in a car, You need high quality at the front. I you still want treble at the rear stick some 2-ways in some where. Would seriously be better quality. I have had both types (6x9 3ways) and now have sub in boot, and decent 2-ways up front(on a zero budget) but i get very good sound quality.

the Infinity 693.5I 's are 49.99 at halfords, well they are at my local one (bolton) rrp £99.99 thought it was a sweet deal!
