Yup, turtle wax - very hard to remove, got some autoglym here but by all accounts leaves a lot of chalk.

Halfords dont stock Meguiars. You'll have to look round a few Moto shops to find a stockist. They may even have a web site with nearest dealer link.
I get mine from ASK Kippax.
