I have a 1.4 16v corsa and a c20xe corsa next car is going to be more sensible like a 1.8vti civic or a primera gt or something, only got 2 years under me belt, as i've said to loads of peeps who crash because they say the cars to fast for them... You'll only go as fast as your right foot wants you to go... Take it easy.. If you want to piss about do it at a disused runway or something not public roads

lol i know this is an old thread but its good hearing these stories.
on the general what most people are saying is right that you could do with starting off with a slower car.
ye fair enough some people do perfectly fine with a higher litre car but even if you only have it for a few months its better to start off low just to get used to driving.
i work on the motorway and the reason for most crashes is that its not the person whos drivings fault its the people around them. you need the few months with a slower car to be able to learn how to anticipate what other drivers are doing.
anyway now ive had my rant on a 5year old thread i think i'll move on lol
