I have a new job as a promotions manager and i have to travel all over england, so it's alot of miles!
Thing is my corsa has done 90,000 now so by then end of the year it'l be reaching 95 or more. So before doing more to it, shall i save £2000 for a sport 16v, (i have an 8v atm) then sell this or shall i just stay with this??
The mileage does bother me for when i come to sell up in a couple of years, and by then it'l probably be well over 100,000.
What is the average milage for a ten year old car???

oh rite so below the average milege then.
What are peoples thoughts of sticking a low mileage 16v lump in instead of buying a whole new car?!!

You have to put urself in the shoes of someone who is buying your car.
Would u buy a car that has done over 100k? Cos i wouldn't

If your travelling a lot Id think about reliability and robustness - so Id think of a new car designed more for the motorway like an Astra.
Company Car option? the cars gonna depreciate loads if your whacking up the milage on it

I know thats the thing neither would i, especially with no serivce history.
Still i spose it would sell to some who has a 2.0l lump to drop in

Personally i'd look into getting a new car on finance, free insurance, no repair bills cos of warranty. No MOT cos its new.

tbh i wish i hadnt gone out and rushed into buying this just coz it was £1200.
Didnt really think about the mileage 82000 at the time, ive regretted gettin it since coz of the mileage!!
