Halfords have Infinity's on special offer at the moment. £50. Get down there ASAP before the offer ends mate, this is a fucking bargain.!!

I recommend not getting 6x9's for rear speakers.

Just ask yourself, How can you expect to get good sound from an odd shaped speaker? They do give a more bass than say 6.5" speakers. But SQ aint the best.

If you are going to get a sub sometime in the future, then dont get 6x9's. Get a set of components (even off the HU, they can sound good). If you dont want comps, get at least coaxials.

But if you dont intend on getting a sub at all in the future, then 6x9's are a valid option.

yes they are, please check your facts before quoting them on here. If you wish to question my knowledge on halfords audio pricing, check with painz first as to quite what i know!

You may well find that they just didnt have the price ticket out, this often happens. And the offer may well end tonight, as there is a new promo going up tomorow for Christmas.

offers been running a couple weeks. But stock is a challenge for us, theyre selling rapidly. The offer might finish tomorow tho, as a new promotion is starting.

I got some Sony Xplod 6x9s (V6932 I think) for £35 at Makro. They're about 50 in halfords. Just put them in the parcel shelf and sound good.

FECK rear speakers, spend the time/money on minting the speakers upfront, do that properly and theirs no need for rears at all. Unless your just one of these people that intend on making the world listen to THEIR type of music

^^^ Thats right.

Your ears face forwards, so theres no real point in putting in good rears. The only reason to put better rears in is if you want rear passengers to have mint sound.

I run stock rears and Boston FS60's up front, and it sounds great!
