unless you go for the NEw style LED kits.. Varads start at £150.. but there static Light... no flash patterns.
£299 get you the 1000 colour change Flat Tube New style LED bulbs from Varad
and you knw where to get them from

neon kits will have fuses.. or built in fuses in the transformers.. you just wire straight off the battery and add a switch onto your dash.

Have neons on a well modified car and put them where you wont see the bulb it's self!
TBH they only look cool when pulled up at a cruise, they are gay and asking for trouble when driving with them on!
