Arrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhh what style
Well, it does depend on your tailpipes. I've only got a 2" system on my 2.0.
I can't remember the rule, but i think its, smaller exhaust bore, more low down torque, less peak power. Bigger exhaust bore, less bottom/mid range torque, but more peak power and faster top end.
Could be why my car seems to pull so well up to 100, but after 120, it really takes its time to get the speed up.

arrrrrrgh unless you get the spare wheel well cut out then only the left exhaust will be used by the gases!! leaving one tarnished and one sparkling new - which shall look a tad daft
it all a matter of science arrrrghhhhhhhhh

has any one seen what essexracing.co.uk do now..u can buy two exhausts and they will make them into a dual exit for £150..so u can get two twin 4" slash cut ones for £100 each and then get them to fit it so fir £350 u can do that aswell! also if u just have one xhaust u can get a matching one and the will fit that for you to make a dual exit! p.s u can have the exits where ever u want! side; middle; normal etc!

So that would mean a £350 back box.....
My exhaust bore is 2".
If the manifold outlet is 2" then you'll gain nothing from having a bigger system bore.
I have a 2" bore system and make very good power. I might gain a few bhp if I had a bigger bore, but it would be marginal, and would have to be accompanied with a larger bore manifold.
BTW, Powerflow are crap for power.

ha ha, powerflow SHOULD be able to make up a sytem that travels around the spare wheel well, but i odnt think theres enough room to put another rear box in, just the tailpipe. So it would be a system going into the left rear box as normal, with 1 tailpipe, and another pipe that travels back out the rear box and round the well.

Greasemonkey, yeah i'd go with either a 2" (think the standard is 1 3/4) or 2 1/4" bore. Both will be fine
