im interested in a 40mm KONI top adjustable Full suspension kit with bumstops, for my Corsa Gsi, cheapest ive found is about 315 quid!
works out cheaper to buy e.g 50mm set of PI springs for about 80 quid
and top adjustable Front and Rear Koni shocks seperatley for 140 quid....a total of 220quid
so it really cheaper this way?
is their a catch or reason for full suspension kits costing so much and am i forgetting anything???
also the lowest full suspension kit for the Gsi is only a 40mm full kit so if i do it as above i can have my car lower at 50mm
wat u reckon guys

oh rite! i get it now, so its PER shock then!
so it does work out cheper to get the Full kit then
but lowest i can find is a 40mm kit,
so to get it lower i will have to get seperate springs and shocks right?
so would PI 50mm springs go well with Koni top adjustable shocks?
cheers guys

gsi are 15mm lower anyway so a 40mm kit is actually 55mm lowered on a standard corsa

oh ok, i get you, but the standard springs and shocks on my car are what make it 15mm lower than other corsas...... so if i took of the shocks and springs completely and put on the new shocks and springs which are 50mm it would lower 50mm and not 15mm less or more?

if the springs are designed for the gsi, they would of taken into account the 15mm drop e.g. if some1 says they do a -50mm kit for the corsa gsi, it really only lowers it 35mm
but if u put a -50mm kit on say a 1.2 corsa, and put both cars side by side, they would be the same in lowness

i totally disagree with this comment, ive had 2 sets of pi's different heights, also had some apex which were dog shite in comparison. had pis for 3 years now and they have never let me down, car handles a lot better than it did with apex also.

dont understand about the gsi thing. surely if the gsi's have -15 as standard it wont make no difference after he has taken em off and put new suspension on anyway

Do Eibach not make springs for corsa's?
These are well known as being quality springs, whereas PI are very variable.

I think whats trying to be said about the GSI thing..
If you put a -50 (for a gsi) it will be 50mm lower than a GSi.. If you put the same kit on a 'normal' corsa it would lower 65mm as the GSI is already 15mm lower..
If you put a non Gsi -50 on a Gsi, it will only lower 35 as the GSI is already 15mm lower than a 'normal' corsa
