Darwen to Lancaster isnt too bad, just up the m6, or down the m6 to stoke is only about an hour.

Dood, this is so freaky, my gfriend well now fiancee lives 230 miles away. We have been friends for 4 years but started seeing each other properly this year. Its really hard mate, i see her once every 3/4 weeks and those weeks feel like months. Thankfully she is moving down in December, but so far its been really difficult.

I'm kindoff seein sum1 from Reading. But Bristol is under a couple of hours away.

But i don't think you cud have anything major serious unless you put effort in to seeing her allot. In my case im too lazy!

first off when you just start seeing each other its not too bad, you carry on with your lives opposite ends of the country and look forward to seeing each other every few weeks or so. The day you decide he/she is the one and you want to be together, until you are together its horrible. Like with shelly even a 50 mile gap is hard enough, would you be prepared to move 230 miles if it got really serious?

thats not too far...

my fella lives in widnes over near liverpool which is about 50 miles from me, he doesnt drive but i do. i only see him at weekends.

bad points are that when u need them sometimes they arent there for a hug, but good points are that you appreciate the time you have with them more, you get to do your own thing and see your own mates and seeing them at weekends makes u look forward to it more.

yes they are all good points, but i feel the bad points possibly outweigh it a little bit.
