They r cool, but I would,nt do a vectra coz they were always touring cars rather than rally car. Love the corsa super 1600.

Wheels, Strip it out and Stickers, plus roof and bonnet vents and usually a crazy spiler and fat roll cage

Halfing costs isnt always the best idea though, many people do this, then one person stuffs the car and the other then hates him for it etc.
A good cav wont cost that much - then a cage etc. Plus since its yours you get to decide everything and its done how you want it.

Yeah, if I were you, Id buy a Cav and just maintain it for the road. Slowly start upgrading everything, body mods, rollcage etc, try to do as much as you can yourself and modify standard bumpers etc than buy new ones. Much more individual and good fun. Soon enough it'll start looking the way you want etc.
This works if you want to make it a track car. If you want an off road car ie. rally car, then its a bit more complicated as theres lots to be done that most people dont think about. That is if you want the car to survive its first offroad outing!
But I say go for it - motorsport/track days etc are 10000000's times more fun and enjoyable than spinning around streets tooting at little girls!
