Rolled in2 the back of one of my neighbours cars I was V.V.V.V.lucky coz it has only v.slightly stripped some small areas of paint (luckily no damage)on the rear bumper, should be easily sorted by HONDA I have 2 witnesses stating that the handbrake was on an that whhen I turned the key the light came on, one of the witnesses being my neighbour whos car has no damage *phew*

This sort of thing is not uncommon in cars with rear disc brakes (read about it several times in the past with the Citroen BX). Apparently the discs shrink slightly as they cool and this can be sufficient for the pads to lose grip. The normal recommendation is to leave in gear. I would discuss this with Honda UK if it really is not possible to leave the car parked in gear.

Apparently u can leave it in gear so I may do that!
They did a thorough test of the handbrake and found nowt wrong
I mus jus not hav left it on quite high enough
They are going to charge me £170 for this
Me so sad I wanna go home now
