Hi peeps.
What do you rekon this set-up would kick out?? Would it be a bitch to use in a 'Normal' day car and not just for ripping it up on a track? .......................
Jenvey 48mm THP48i Throttle Bodies
90mm trumpets and (40mm trumpets – might sell these separately)
Fuel Rail
Cream Injectors
Jenvey Throttle Linkage
Pipercross Air filter
Jenvey Fiberglas backing plate
“Black Top” Fuel Pressure regulator & pressure gauge
DCOE manifold matched to bodies and head
DTA ECU running version 30 firmware (recent upgrade)
Full custom loom
Comms lead
DTA software (also downloadable off their website)
C20XE engine with ARP rod bolts
Recent cambelt, water pump, tensioner and idler change
Q42H cams
Std. exhaust manifold
F20 gearbox
The engine has been fully mapped by Steve Greenald as it stands at the moment, this is one reason why I would like to sell the kit complete. To give you an idea, the mapping cost £400.
There's around £3000 worth of kit in total.
I’m looking for £1600 for the lot.
It is all still in the car for the time being so can be heard running.

Yep
Just a BIT to modded though if you get me.
Do you rekon you would have to give an insurance company a full spec of the engine like that? Could you leave out the cams? Injectors? ECU? Surely they wont strip the engine to bits and be able to identify them?

Stuyw were is the ad on Mig mate i can't see it for lookin?
Insurance could be a problem for this though, i could buy it but then if the insurance won't let me go ahead with it i could be left with an engine in my garage gathering dust
Need to give HIC a call and see what the damage would be

You'd have to find out more about the cam spec. TBs, well set up on good C20XE running standard cams normally make in the region of 180bhp. To get more, you ideally need at least a well-worked head, and maybe wilder cams/more revs and strengthened internals too

I think that engines runnign around 190bhp. Its a bargin, if i had the money at the moment i'd snap it up, and fit all the parts to my engine.

I would love to, could sell the engine on for about £400 put it on mine, get it all mapped, hmmmmmmmmm dribble
Looking to purchase a PiperX Viper air filter this weekend hopefully. Fedup of all that hot air getting into the engine. Only like £70, so worth it even if it doesn't work well enuff
But i want throttle bodies Nope, gonna get her ready for this year, next year not spend anything on her, go on holiday etc, then the following year hopefully get better brakes, lightened flywheel, LSD etc.
Then after that, who knows. Cant justify £2k on throttle bodies though
