Right cars coming upto 60K stage so in the next 5k - 10k tis gonna need a rebuild,

Option A: Save up the wonga and send to roatary garage and have rebuilt with new seals, rotars , housings as a standard rebuild. 280bhp ish with my basic mods etc.. 2.2K

Option B: Have engine rebuilt but to performance spec, port & polish , intercooler etc (380+ bhp) 3.5 - 4K

Option C: Sell up and go for Evo 4/5, Skyline or Elise

all advise welcome, as well the cars off the road at the mo as radiators split and coolant everywhere, and new rad is £400

Dont buy an Elise..... please??!!

Go with option B) or C) tho if money permits

and think about it, if you did option B) then you have another 50k miles of safe motoring before your gona need to do the rotary seals again.

Does the RX still give you a on your face? Yes?
Then build it into a monster!

Tricky decision my love... If u do wanna sell it now people who r likely to be interested will know it needs a rebuild wouldnt they? ANd that I would think would bring the price down? That said £2200 is alot jus 2 kep the car on the road... specially with ur current radiator problem

all these people saying sell obviously haven't been in one or driven one, these cars are second to none! Nismo don't get a evo or anything, keep it. Come on, what gets more attention if u pull up in a evo or in a RX7, the rx7 easy. they are sooo smooth, such amazing handling and sound soo good. If u have the money to run the car after getting it rebuilt to a more powerfull then do it (but mod it properly) if not then keep it stock it's fuckign quick as it is. don't sell it mate.
Also.. rad's gone? get a uprated KOYO Rad, it's like 3 times the thickness and fully alloy looks the bollox works amazingly keeps it cool, and is cheaper then a stock rad.
The RX7 is a performance sports car, it costs to run and maintain, it's not a car it's a hobby. And i guarantee it sitll makes u smile. an evo is just a performance saloon.
