I'm not interested on whether you WOULD sell it, but whether you COULD - financially.

Obviously no-one wants to sell a car they've but thousands into for peanuts, so you'd try and get a good percentage of the cars street value, plus a bit more for various mods depending on what and how they're done.

I did I got approx 1/2 of what I spent on mods and above market value for the car itself

Mine up for sale now, looks like i might end up getting a new car then worry about selling it, which is nice

Book price for mine with its current mileage is £2600-700 so im asking £3500 which i think is reasonably because ive spent 3k on her

£9180 for the car brand new
£600 for the wheels (Plus countless tyres)
£1500 on various other stuff
£5000 on engine mods

Sell car for about £3800, in total lose about £12,480.

Cos' it's a good few years older than new :lol; he's took half of the mods of the engine and it isn't particularly 'noticable' looking

noone would buy mine, its 11 years old with 145,000 miles on it, how many people want a 5 door diesel as a modified car also, very limited market, so im keeping it.

i got over market value for my car and most the money back for my mods coz i got all my mods pretty cheap!but then there werent alot done to it anyways!
market value is 3500 i got 4200!

so 2 to 2.5k more than market value

bought for £2500 n plate
sold for £4500
spent 1500 on mods!!!
