Hi,
I have a 1.2 SXI and thinking of getting rid or I may keep another year if this conversion can be done. I have seen 1 Corsa C in Total Vauxhall with a 2.0 Turbo engine I think the name was Mathejan from Holland.
It said the conversion would cost £13,000 !!??
Has anyone seen a 2.0 Corsa C in the UK ?
Surely the new 2.0 turbo lump in the Astra GSI or Vx220 Turbo would fit okay ??
Cheers
JJ

you'll also effectivly be running 2 ecu's, one for the engine, and othe other for the car cos of the way the C is all wired up!
it is a difficult & time-consuming swap to do, mainly due to the wiring, rest is pretty much straight forward (swapping lumps), just a case of getting the right mounts, shafts & hubs

I think the guy who done the conversion owns M tech who supply PVD with conversion components for the Nova and Corsa B.
Is did say in the article in total vauxhall that is was a pain in the arse because of having to use 2 ECUs as previously stated by PaulW
But I would of thought one of the newer Astra GSi or VX220 lumps would
work more easily especially if a Corsa GSi is on the cards soon

The guy is from holland and so you would have to take your car over there
The £13k was absolutely everything even a limited slip diff about 280-300bhp if i remember correctly, but to even think about spending that kinda money on a C is abit silly in my eyes mite as well get a astra turbo as much nicer car and tune up
