Anyone here tried it when not already under the influence of alcohol? I bought a bottle tonight and im loving it. Only had about 2" from bottle and its a bit different from being drunk!

i tried a couple of shots myself while sober and it wasnt all that bad!!

I did loads of research on the net b4 buying it ( i do this before trying any new drugs). Decided i wanted to do it, so found out how to take it properly and how much to have. I dont wanna get wasted on it,just enjoying the experience!

My bro and his 4 mates had over christmas in red lion pub the bar man said blow it out and let the glass cool. So 1 lad picked it up lit i might add and spilt it over his hand and wallet which was on the bar.
He was so drunk he blew on it then screamed ma F*****G arm megga burn on his hand and hot money

You are supposed to have a spoon with loads of holes in it, and a sugar cube on that. Have 1/5th of required drink size worth of absinthe in a glass, and pour ice cold water slowly over the sugar cube. It should turn a milky colour, then drink it!

its no longer proper absinthe, the psychoactive ingredient isnt in it anymore.
it used to make you trip out like crazy, thats why van-gogh cut his ear off!
now its just strong alcohol, nothing more.

This isnt true - the active ingredient, thujone , is still found in the proper absinthes you can buy today, although it is still illegal in france. STAROPLZENECKY has the highest amounts of it allowed in the EEC, and is 70%ABV too/

This absinthe has the highest content of thujone permitted within the EEC and follows a closely guarded secret recipe passed down from Napoleonic France and adopted by the Bohemians. Staroplzenecky is distilled with pure wormwood oil producing 10mg per litre of thujone content and is flavoured with star anise and other herbs for smoothness. It is the very same drink which inspired countless poets and artists at the turn of the last century and eventually became banned in France, Italy, Germany and America as a result of official histeria about the perceived social consequences of its peculiar psychotropic properties.

have a look for kronenbourg deco, its a bottle of larger with a shot of absinte attached on top, ur meant to down the bottle, inhale the vapous then down the shot with these
