ok this is how low my car is at the moment

and to be honest its a pain in the arse, too hard and i keep smacking it on stuff under the car, how much shud i raise it buy? its on avo coil overs, whats the optimum lowering for good handeling? the novelty of driving a low car has worn off now!
please help as i wanna get it sorted today

I'd say down 40 over 17's as a rule. What size are the rims?

I have mine at what i think to be about 35mm lowered at the front (<<< see avatar pic)

My rear is too low. but there seized just now

I think it rides better, and the exhaust manifold doesnt get beaten to shit anymore

yeah iv got a supersprint manifold that i dont wanna bash about as it cost a few pennies, so u recon 35mm front and 40ish rear??

60mm is ideal then. Its about the same amount down my mate has on his Nova running 16's.

It also doesn't ride as hard as my beeza on it's std suspension, but the nova feels like it's on rails as far as the handling goes.

I think 40mm down on 15's will make it's arch gaps too big giving it too much roll. Only one way to find out though!

too much roll aint an issue, i can stiffen it up. im gunna try it on 40mm.

my corsa was lowered 40 all round on 15's....sat nicely at the back but id personally have bout 50-60mm at the front....coz mine sat a bit high

Totally agree - about 35-40mm on 15s is a perfect compromise - allows good handling without the need to worry about having your sump and manifold removed each time you get onto a B road

lol, yeah northampton roads aint the best so it takes the piss having to drive at 40mph on roads that are easy good for 60(+!!) so as soon as the snow goes!! ill change it to -40mm, need to find a standard corsa to measure it on tho lol!

Arch gaps don't give you body roll, body roll chaffs in the wheel unless you have arch gaps!

Gaps are good!

I'd go 40 all round as a start and have a play if you're not happy with the resultant handling.

i raised mine up from 60 to 40mm at the back last week, it handles so much better and it doesnt jar my back anymore, lol.
