Comin out of mother inlaws..very small opening between two kerbs..

been through it thousands of times... BUt tonight......

I HIT MY FECKING FRONT WHEEL..

Big chip out of it and a long scrape......

goin to touch it up wi black paint fo now..Touched it up with black pen till I get the paint..........

when i hit mine on first refurb
was reversin jus touched the curb when i stopped to move forward
didnt know til went to get some air was gutted

hopefully done do it to these ones

i'm gonna get mine refurbished when i need a new set of tyres!!

gonna invest in some tyres that stick out a bit to protect the rim of kurbing..

I curbed my drivers front a while ago, the others are fine though, only problem ive had with them is when i take em off, when undoing the nuts scrapes some of the finish off inside the holes!!

in around 200k miles over 7 years on 4 wheels, in cars from a 1 litre polo to a rally prepped HRV and stuff in between (audi A4, honda civic type R, a vectra and many more) I've never once kerbed a car when driving, parking manouvering, yet still park within an inch or two of the kerb when parking.

I just can't figure out why some people manage it so often... ???


especially when it's kerbing in motion, like turning onto a roundabout too tight etc...
