As soon as my Corsa is sold, I'm gonna be getting a Clio Cup, what do you lot think to this? Seems like a good buy to me.
172 Cup for sale, December 52 plate, 16k miles (mostly motorway), immaculate condition, usual Cup spec but with clear side repeaters and Phillips Silver Vision bulbs front and rear. JBL speakers.
Immaculate condition, Full Renault Service History and extra oil change every 6k, 2 new tyres. Under Renault warranty until December 2005. Lovingly cared for by enthusiast owner - never thrashed. Swizzol from new and always run on Optimax. Never been bumped, scraped or dinged, and no trackdays.
HPI clear and any inspection welcome!

For 10k i'd rather have a TT supra or a scooby but it's your money..

Yeah, need something fairly new and low mileage, not many Scoobys/ Supra's that fall into that category for 10k.

I'm tempted to buy a mk1 172. CTR is excellent and would be my choice of the two

Thats what I really want, just a bit out my price range, CTR and Leon were top of the list then the Cup, the other two are 12k+ though so its gotta be a Cup. Also considered Astra Coupe Turbo, but they are too much aswell.

There is a really nice Ibiza cupra turbo 02 reg in black near me for 9K would rather have that!

After about 70mph should keep up with most other hot hatches etc. About 14sec 1/4 mile.

whats that compare to a 2.0 16v corsa ? i have always been interested in a clio cup they look very nice to me and you don't need to mess around with them and mod them do you ?
Also aren't they standard with leather seats ?

Cup has no Leather seats, ABS, Spare Wheel or Air Con, to reduce weight.

ive raced a clio cup in my 2.0 corsa on both 1/4 and motorway, beat it on the 1/4 (just) but almost exact same above 100 i couldnt pass it and he couldnt pull away,

No its just a Cup pack. Extra £500 get uprated suspension, front splitter and spoiler.
