its an import then, cos british ones only came in white, grey, red and blue.

yes they did But not many, and i do not think any was released in that colour in the UK (somone will prove me wrong)

it doesn't look like a respray, unless it was done ages ago, cause the paint work looks the age of the car (if u know what i mean)

actually thinking about it, didnt they do a special thing once when you could have any colour you wanted, hence there is a couple of black 5 doors kicking around too.

look under the bonnet, unless its had a full shell respray the engine bay should have a different colour

the only Black GSi (proper ones) have always been NON UK
best bet just check in places where they wouldent paint and just mask off

i think they were just the european ones that were black. so it must be an import if it aint a respray

the badges on the car are uk ones e.g steering wheel, grill etc, but i'll have a look for peeling paint

gsi's also had different dials to the likes of the sports and sri's, ie 10-140, the redline starts at 6500rpm not 6000rpm and inbetween numbers theres alot more little dashes!

it got abs, rear disk, the dials are the proper ones, all electrics, the full works but it's in black

it might have mate, just that i think the first models, l registration, think electrics and sunroof may have been an optional extra dam vauxhall

my gsi is a L plate, and has sunroof, mates M reg gsi does not have one so not sure why some dont and some do
