They do dazzle oncoming drivers and the fact that so many people drive with them on proves how ignorant other road users are.

you've got a horn on your car, why dont you have that linked to your lights too and have that on all the time
and yes, they do blind people at night
especially on unfamiliar country roads with very few road markings

Do you drive with your hazard warning lights flashing too, cos you have them - might aswell according to what your saying

my fogs do not dazzle drivers at all. they are honestly not blinding. no were near as bad as BMW lights and puntos, etc with their new blue lights. now they do dazzle you

Fog lights usually aren't as bad as people have their lights on highest level setting. (0 on corsas). That often blinds me, I always have it on 3 - the lowest setting.

It would be too difficult to police those with dazzling fog lights against those that have non-dazzling fog lights.
More efficient to ban the use of foglights except when it's oooh... foggy!

i was refering to the people that have them on deliberately, not drunken fools like you who dont realise

True, im over 6ft and sometimes my knee would knock it on, usually id notice and switch it off but once I didnt and got fined I coulda knocked the smug coppers teeth in cause he was all yeah yeah - thought he was so

im not arguing witht he fact u get fined with them on. if the laws say dnt use em then fair enough. and anyway when it is foggy fog lights make no difference what so ever
