Just found out the car i wanted has been sold! I'm just waiting for a decision on a loan and then was goona go see the guy
Can i fuk find a decent UK spec imprezza now There are millions of cracking WRX's for the right money with trackers and FSSH but the insurance is £400 more and they are harder to get parts for and the servicing is more
Seen this though..

Gutted. Nice Car. Try the AA for loans, I rang them at 10 o'clock on tuesday night, was on the phone 5minutes, they rang back 5 minutes later with a decision and the cheque arrived by courier on wednesday night.

You get a full AA inspection for free(usually £175) when you get a loan from them aswell.

Its not buying the car thats the problem, its running them over a period of time that costs a fortune. Brakes, Servicing, insurance, tyres etc.
Im sure you know this already but if you find yourself needing a major service, ie discs n pads, cambelt etc your looking at near £1000 for Subaru to do the work.

What about this? Bit more than 8k but you could negotiate. Totally standard, UK model, low miles. I looks pretty average but if you buy a totally standard unmodified one then the chances are its been used as a regualr car rather than being thrashed around 24/7. Then you can add styling bit as you go along, Speedlines, colour coded bits, maybe a P1 lip or whatever.
1999 SUBARU IMPREZA TURBO, 1999, 38000
miles, UK car, one owner, FSSH, inc cambelt, alarm & Tracker, 6 CD stack, Taxed till Oct 2004, unchanged in immaculate condition, genuine bargain, may p/x. £8,995.

Quite high mileage though those Marc.
Also, I personally would never ever touch an even slightly modified Scoob.

Black one looks OK, 8yrs old though. Might mean big repair bills just around the corner.

I suppose, its just all the horror stories you hear flying around about 2k repair bills etc.
Got to be mega careful when buying a car like a Scoob, much more so than when buying a Corsa or something like that.

Just needs a set of Speedlines, but even the rims on it aren't bad for a few months.

The bottom ones are off an STI7? If so, he could pic a set up fairly cheap if STI7 owners look to upgrade.
