You can work out the tax if you know what you need to... nobody pays 20% tax... 
either 10%, 22% (22% then subtraction of 10%) or 40%.

Well, u can never be exact... I personall deduct 25% to give u net as that generally works for basic rate tax payers

Nope.. Basic rate is 22%.

WTF?? Did I say tax rate is 25% no... I said if u take off 25% off ur salary u often get what u will get net has it takes into account ur NI/PAYE and allowances... I prepare payroll every month an this usually works out as a good approximation. I also used 2 be a tax accountant so go **** urself
