my rev guage now works!!! woohoo and the shift light, iv'e been driving like a twat everywhere making the shift light come on
richies gonna b gutted, and james happy anyways...

Kurt, how can you drive like a twat in a 1.2 on 17's??? Does it mean you hold the gear for a few minutes longer than normal?? lol

The nova can crack 68.7mph in second on the limiter.

It's a just a variable filter, so over the threshold value it's closes the circuit to turn on the light.

My limiter is 7750rpm on a 3.74 final running 185/60R14's, works out as the above speed, p.s diesels have poo rev limits.

you'll find that the radius of you're tires is barely bigger than mine, by like mm's.
I'm dropping to a 4.18 final so effectivaly taking 12% off my possible speeds, however with new engine build looks like rev limit will be in the 8100rpm region compensating a bit.

it'll go upto 6,000rpm and 55mph in 2nd....

6,000rpm & 90ish mph in 3rd

no sh!t! redline on mine is 5000 but i dont take it over 4000 much thesedays as im scared it will explode

with the 17s ur clock is probs out cos ive got 17s on my C and with the road angel if im doin 30 by my speedo look at the road angel and its like 25-28 and the fast i go the more it goes out

I thought all cars had rev limiters...

And Road angels are not accurate though, unless you've got the gps one.....
