No -- I don't need to. I just know it does echo, like every other sound wave....

Unless the duck was exactly one wavelength from the reflective surface, and therefore wouldn't create an echo (just like every other sound source)...

Or unless duck's are amazingly intelligent and hide the echo much in the same way the military hide their planes from radar...
