mainly for the attention of motorbike people.
if you had the choice which one...
suzuki bandit or honda hornet, both 600cc
pros and cons.
just curious as i haven't test driven them yet.

i think the honda is quicker, have ridden a bandit before and wasn't that impressed at all, but the Hornet has the CBR600 motor in, might be a little detuned tho.

yeah i know its got the detuned cbr, but not exactly looking at thrashing the titties out of it.

yeah but to be fair you buy a bike to go quick on, and the Bandit I felt was quite weak, struggled to pull more than 100, which is pi55 poor for a 600.

can't afford a performance bike yet. jsut looking for something i can repair cheaply if i fall off

i'd be getting an r6 rather than a zx-6 anyway

I got a gsxr 600. Spend around £700 on gear. Be warned tho, bikes are expensive. I have just found out i need a new clutch, carb overhaul kit, front tyre, and the front wheel is buckled, so gonna need one of those too...very expensive month. PS...get a fairinged bike, as bikes without them struggle to go more than 80mph without feeling unstable due to drag.

won't be able to afford the insurance yet. will be my first bike, so the above will be ideal. as for the repairs etc. i'll be looking forward to them

£700 sounds reasonable. i had a quick total up and i got around that figure.

GoldPenguin shop around for your gear..go to bike shops to try on the stuff and find your exact size then go home and mail order it ...mail order prices are much cheaper even with the delivery
