after about 500 miles i giv it some stick. but its now on just over 1900 and at the time of the problem occuring i was doing 55 with cruise on. eml came on not running right, then fooooooook. tech2 check-present cylinder 3 injector circuit low voltage. whip injector out. hmm summat missin here. check with warranty clerk, ooh your chassis has a field remedy for that. order injectors vor, strip head for damage. car at work me off till wednesday wait till then for full verdict.

I've driven one, first impressions, feels quick, but its an illusion. But not bad, quicker than the 12v.

u need to really go for a drive in them to appreciate how good the engine is. bottom end isnt amazing but you put it in 5th and doing 40mph, u dont need change down at all. just put foot down and let the turb do the rest. and and and, iv had 590 miles of a full tank. belting

I drove one 10 miles, enough to realise it was slow, feels nippy but isn't.

fair comment but i was used to driving 1.2 16v before so it seems quicker than that. i love it so its all that matters

1.2 16v is nippy, just bought one, will have a 2.0 eventually to replace my B 2.0 but this 1.2 16v is quicker than I recall the 1.3 cdti being, mainly because it revs.

yeah i feel the 1.2 is good bottom end but mid range the 1.3cdti is more responsive. i have had to change my driving style loads though because before change gear quite high(petrol)but now changing at about 4000 helps the power there instead of redline and nothing. plus the 1.2 16v is not capable of supporting cruise control, and mine does. ill never ever not have cruise control

1.2 is pretty gutless under 3500 rpm whereas the Diesel seems much better, I spose for pottering about the Diesel is better.
I prefer the 2.0
