there in a ruff area i recon as burnley is where BNP got in, but hay rent it out to for £60 a week to DSS

must be in a dodgy place or something, no way do houses in decent areas go for less that 60k
although get anything in my village, and you looking at about 200k+ our house has gone up about 80% in value since we brought it 14years ago

you would probably spend at least another 10 grand making it livable, then as a landlord you have to provide certain things even if you rent it unfurnished ( i know cos my parents own a few properties)

Well unless your renting it for very cheap, pretty much nobody would get turned down for a morgage of £8k
Think you would find a 15 year old lass with a kid would get given a house for SFA

u can giev you house over to the local gov and they will sort out tennents for you and the gov will pay there rent

Burnley is pretty rough, I'm up there a fair bit for football (burnley fan ) there are some nice areas though but ones to watch are Daneshouse, Dukebar, Stonyholme and Burnley Wood.
