my mate ben has 1 of these, its had various mods done engine wise, ill ask him properly tmoro but i hav just kicked his ass in my gsi and he sent me a txt even admittin that it was, he comes on here so ill get him to back me up tmoz, were gunna 1/4 mile it each and see wot comes out im well pleased tho

No. simple as the GSi will not beat it.
The only time a GSi is on par with a VTS/GTi is when they are on the motorway then there is hardly any difference.

thats wot i thought hes got a manifold and not sure wot else, induction kit
mines got a sebring exhaust and k&n he wasnt lowered and road was like a fuckin conveyor belt but he cudnt keep up pmsl

colin, its not as bad as you think, the large mid-range kick in the GSi/Sport is enough to scare the VTS from 50-80 after that, VTS would edge away

when i had my sport, this was the case, on a slip road from 50 right up to 80 it was neck and neck, jump onto the motorway and it would edge away and i would run out of puff at about 110 and give up

0-100 time of a vts is around 22-23 secs compared to overr 30 secs for the corsa gsi

Corsa GSi - 29.8 sec's 0-100
Saxo VTS - 22.4 sec's 0-100
GSi loses its guts at 120MPH - VTS still going

I like to waste Clio Williams and 172, so nobody bother bringing a VTS, VTR, GSi, Cliovalve or whatever round my kneck of the woods.
