 I gave up of my own accord. Still smoke the 'occasional spliff' ( ) and drunken cigarette, but nowehrre near 10 a day that i used to smoke.

i gave up, had doen for a year, then i cracked due to personal shit.
Trying to quit now its proper difficult 
Managed it easily last time, now it seems harder 
And yes non smokers piss me off BIG TIME

i love how poeple say the dying thing.
I REALLY wish i die before the age of 60.
Ive seen what "growing old gracefully" does, and it is fucking horrible. I saw the person i loved the most who didnt smoke do drugs etc, go through hell for 10 years before he finnaly gave up.
Everyone dies. Apart from goin in your sleep id like someone to tell me a nice way of dying??
These days you can get cancer for no fucking reason i know someone who has had it twice and they are 25 Non-related to smoking too.

Ok so you're the exception to the rule then. The majority of other smokers are quick to offer a cigarette around, but only because they feel it then allows them to smoke in the vicinity of those people.
How would you feel if rather than decline a cigarette, your friend said "no thanks and I'd rather you fucked off to your own corner and smoked yourself to death".
That saying, I've no problem with smokers.
