x16xe + BFO induction cone, Velos Torq tube and decat exhaust = 124.9bhp @ 6350rpm / 109.4 lbft @ 5178rpm

+ Uni Chip = 131.0bhp @ 6359rpm / 112.5 lbft @ 5943rpm

Torque upto 3krpm had dramatically increased, at one point +18lbft

Bhp climbing all the time, gonna get a module to increase the rev limit and get the top end re-mapped soon, altho he said that he wasnt sure if the chip would be able to push enough petrol through to compensate for the air

But EM light still showing EGR and Crank Sensor faults both were replaced yesterday

Smoothed out all little blips etc

All work done at Clive Atthowe Tuning in Norwich, top bloke who knew his stuff www.enginetuning.net

Ohh and thanx to Luke for coming to pick us up

No, its up over standard.

Quite good spread of power and torque, will be happy if my X16XE produces this power and torque.

Oh a certain person off here told me that the standard figure was higher than what I got?!

Oh well, maybe when this god dammit EGR valve is sorted it will be better, feels like a mahoosive flat spot between 3000rpm and 5500rpm

Full re-build, 0.5 oversized pocketed pistons (1625ccish), stage 2 ported and polished head. Mantzel Power Box, Viper Induction Kit, Full Magnex Cat back System, Lexmaul 4-2-1 Manifold, Mantzel Superchip 7500 Rev Limit, Magnecore Leads Spitfire Plugs, bottom end reground .25 completely balanced and lightened with oversized main and big end bearings, ARP rod bolts, SBD metal idler pulleys, fly wheel matched to crank

The RR result showed i was overfuelling a wee bit

That flat spot is because ya got a tourqe tube like the mantzel the power dont come till after 5500rpm but then it will pul hard all the way to 7500rpm

Basically just remove the secondary air pump and the EGR thing and all the holes that are left you blank off, eith weld over the hole in the exhaust, get a blanking plate made up fro the lower inlet manifold, i got a X16XE lower inlet on my C16XE with the egr stuff blanked off, speak to mark broster he had his removed, and his ecu light stays off,
