whats the best way to make my 1.4 sport faster??

or is there not a way, and just get a red top engine?

corb i have replyed in my post in ice and electrics about the 2ohm, 8ohm and 4ohm things.

corb i dont know, im dead certain it used to be a 1.4 and i heard he had got it to a 1.6 dont ask me how thats what ive heard, i probably missed out like the whole inbetween bits

by replacing the 1.4 bottom end with a 1.6 version, think the heads on both the 1.4 and 1.6 were the same, then again could be wrong!

the complete top end(head cams etc) are the same on the two engines, x14xe and x16xe, the c16xe has different exhaust cams and few differences to the head. u can tune the x14xe well, and as for people saying you may aswell buy a faster car, well you may but wheres the fun in that? lol! id prefer to tune an engine than put a bigger one in! the 1.4 16v enginer is easily tuneable to 105-110bhp with just an ilet and exhaust and few other bits costing less than 1k, and it totally transforms the car, well worth doing if insurance is an issue

tuned 1.4 much much more fun when they run, mine ran 15.7 on my first and only run to date on the 1/4 mile in really hot weather

handles superb as well

i have see it with no engine in it, you should have been down there cleaning the bay before lee put the let in
