I think Im going to limit myself at £1k MAX for a years cover, any more seems fucking ridiculous and a waste of money!

for a car that isnt 'special' i.e, looks nice and goes like shit.... i would not spend more than 600

My GF is insured on the GT for 500, Fully Comp, with me and her sis on the policy... she's 22 with 3 yr NCD.... I couldnt get that low!!!

Hmph so everyones saying £2k Max, main reason I ask is ive seen the car I want, ive sat in it, started it etc etc........its fecking awsome! I just think id cry for a week after paying £1850 for bastarding insurance.....thats only for 10months aswell.

My policy was £1850 when I took it out
That was 12 months though.
If I wanted the car badly, I'd pay about £2k too.

£1500 but only on a car worth money, i wouldnt spend that much on say a 2l corsa which isnt worth anything in comparison

ive paid 2k before and unless it was a very quick car i wouldnt pay that much these days.

I paid £1700 for my MR2 when I was 19, I put that down to being young and stupid.

Just now im £450ish on a 325i FC car value £1500.

Quoted £1853 on a 97 M3 Evo - 320BHP worth £11k 2yrs NCD 22yrs old licence held almost 5 years no points/accidents etc.

For £1k I can insure 328i, UK Turbo Impreza.

that would be regarded as bargain basement insurance over here but its all relative.

i'm 27 1year NCB on a 1.2 8V ---> €2310(£2000)

just to shock u a little more theres a chap on one of the sites over here and hes 19 and he has a 1.4 seat Ibiza dunno the year but its not new.

and hes payss......................................€5200 now i would walk if i was him. + i'm not gonna even get started on the way Road Tax works over here
