Had it a couple of weeks now, beaten lots of very surprised cars in it! Only car I've lost to so far is that black twin engined Nova...... which is ridiculous!
BTW.. anybody got any Corsa GSi glocks for sale for it?

out of all the jap beasts in rotherham the best car i've raced against was another 2litre corsa, black with kingom flycatcher from bumper and combat back bumper and skirts

Full EDS Phase 3.5, Hybrid Turbo, Few other mods on the engine.... F28 Box. Having a new bottom end in soon, so not going to take it to rolling road until its all done. Been told its around 325bhp, but weather it is or not doesn't really bother me! Its what it beats on the tarmac and what times it can set that bother me!
Next mods on the list are: 296mm 4 pots and coilovers.

Venom... I've raced everything in Roth (bar that Astra on throttle bodies, but ive raced him in a UK scoob, and I'm sure ill out accelerate him, but not outhandle him!) and I've beaten the lot.
Best race was an STi 4 Type R (v. short ratio box), he was on his own and i was 4 up and it was nip and tuck, but he couldnt get past. He admitted if id of got into 5th and 6th (best gears for me) id of done him

if the EDS 3.5 is the equivilant of the wallace phase evo5 managements, i'm all set for evo6 in august

Put me down for a ride in yours then Venom! Andy Nova Van will soon be phase 3.5 too, but with lesser turbo, but he weighs a LOT less!
I'm going to investigate another manifold as an option for more power...

It set me back 6.5k. BUT the paint job is brand new (and is all the engine bay) and all the work on the engine has just been done. Also he chucked in rear disc conversion and a new bottom end as a part of the deal.

LSD... I was going to get one. But to be honest if yuo adapt your driving style and are very sensative only 1st gear is a problem. If you just hoof your foot down like its a 1.2 then its will happily light up 1st, 2nd and 3rd..... But if power is fed on you can get fantastic grip in 2nd.
For the 1/4 mile I'll be using drag tyres I think in the long run, though I want to have my first runs on road tyres so I can see the difference.

Hmmm... interesting point! One I will investigate, I'd not considered that!
Yeah it is torqe steer, I don't accelerate full tonk when I'm overtaking incase it pulls me into them. Ridiculous in the wet, even 6th gear I'm spinning if I give it enough!
