Check out the pics of X
X is a revolutionary roller coaster - the world's first Fourth Dimension. The ride, designed by Arrow Dynamics, features prototype vehicles that can spin independently 360-degrees forwards or backwards on a separate axis.
X stands 215-feet in the air and reaches a maximum speed of 76 MPH. The 3,610-foot long layout features six inversions including an amazing sky-dive, two raven turns, one back-flip, and a twisting front flip.
X's intimidating structure towers over you as you drive up Magic Mountain Parkway. It is recommended that you arrive early and run to the ride as soon as the gates open in order to avoid Xtremely long lines later in the day.
Although the ride has received mostly rave reviews from enthusiasts and is a huge hit among the general public, X is not flawless.
Due to design flaws - particularly with the trains - the ride's opening (originally schedule for summer of 2001) was delayed until January of 2002. In June, the ride closed for several months in order to modify the trains. In August of 2002, the ride re-opened and has been running smoothly ever since.
X is an amazing, unique roller coaster that offers sensations you will not be able to experience anywhere else in the world.

I love my rollercoasters, but i dont think they go fast enough. Dont think i will be happy untill rollercoasters simulate the ride of a fighter jet going at 300-400mph id love that

Thats one of my ambitions in life...to ride that! Always wanted to go to Six Flags but haven't had the chance or money yet. Will do one day.
My Top 5 coasters that I've ridden:
1. 'Dragon Khan' in Univeral Mediterranea, Spain (feckin brilliant stuff!....12 loops and includes the highest loop in the world)
2. 'Pepsi Max: Big ONE' in Blackpool (shitting myself on the way up!)
3. 'AIR' in Alton Towers
4. 'Nemesis' in Alton Towers
5. 'Valhalla' in Blackpool

Been on Dragon Kahn...brilliant...the time I went as well, Portaventura was empty, so I could get off, walk around, and jump straight back on again.
Would like to go on the Pepsi Max like...

Yeah I must have went on it 10/15 times. Pepsi Max is just as good tho....tallest/fastest coaster in Europe I think.

Aye I think it is...I was in Blackpool about 13/14 IIRC and I was debating whether going on it as I was tall enough..but bottled it ...would go on now like being a bit older and braver!
That Top Fuel Dragsta looks canny like...!

Wicked, i didnt think many othe rpeople knew of this! I was pretty young when i went, the park hadnt been open for long. Went on it 13 times in a row, getting straight back on, but then had to stop cos i almost puked. Went on that Fuman chú thing next to it, those swings on ropes that u just sit on and get flung out a bit, then i was sick

I was rather young when I went there...15 IIRC.
Dragon Kahn has something like the most loops in Europe or something, 8 I think it is...definetly competes with the ones up the top of the page...just them ones are slightly higher!

Yeah Dragon Khan has the tallest vertical loop in the world, but that ride at Thorpe Park or Chessington has the most loops (vortex I think..).
Port Aventura....apart from Dragon khan the rest of the rides are shit! Although Stampeda (sp?) was quite good.

I used to hate rollercoasters....even nearly shit myself on Thunder Mountain at disney! The way i got over it was thinking that so many people ride them each year, the likelihood of something bad happening is tiny..now I'll go on anything!

That'd be Colossus at Thorpe Park! Has 10 inversions, the most of any coasters to this date That ride is beyond mental! It has a section where there are 5 simultaneous barrel rolls. The track just twists for 5 loops

All coasters are tame... Well in civilised countries
The fact that you know the coaster is checked everyday thoroughly by maitenance and has about a million safety trips that stop the ride / don't let the ride start if something isn't right, means there's no risk... It's a laugh but none are scary...
However, I was talking to my south african mate (white not black) - and he was telling me that in South Africa, the rides don't have safety trips lol... so if the person's lap bar for example is not down and the operator hasn't noticed, they can be sent without being secured in
