Having now moved into a house with a garden the decision has been made that we will now get a dog.

problem being my boyfriend wants a beagle when i would rather have a rottweiler or boxer or something along those lines.

can anyone suggest any nice breeds?? thank you

I'd like a Weimaraner or a Boxer when I get my new house both take some looking after from what I've read but I've always loved dogs some it doesn't really bother me.

Have a look here for some info. I think you should research the breed you're interested in before making any decisions

i have a collie, cute, playful, never runs out of energy, seems to gaurd the house 24/7 and is quite mean.

he once thought i was an intruder when i walked in the house with my bike gear and helmet on and he bit me arm, but when i took me helmet off he apologised by lifting his paw for a hand shake.
