just read the Passionford post and was thinking
how about we have a rematch with the NOVA boys, as we lost a few fears back to them when Max did the Corsa Vs Nova day and to say the least we dident do to well, as are fastest corsas where
Standard 2lt 16v and a 1.6 16v
so why not have a re match
i am sure one of the mags will cover and maybe sort it out, i would even think Max would do it again, as a Part 2 and how Corsa have come on over the years 
what people think?

High power Novas and corsas seam to run around the same 1/4 mile times

My Corsa is on a DVD for Max, coming out August/Sept. And it got battered by that Twin Engined Nova LOL, and a few other cars! It didn't come last though! 
That Nova is IMMENSE to say the least. Fastest thing I'll ever go in!

there was a Standard looking corsa at PV which ran 13.1 1/4 miles
its all about on the day
the twin engine Nova HAS run a 2.9 to 60. but its also been clocked at 4.09 and LuckyB's old one doing a 4.97 then could be a close run match
its all about on the day how well we all do
i think it would be a close battle and no matter what the out come will be a A1 day

I'd say tuned XE's/LET's and Andy Hamilton..... there is no point putting in 1.4 16v's with induction kits etc as per last time

sounds cool, but they will always do it down in england which is no use for us scottish corsa and nova freaks. fuck if i'm trailering my car all that way.
