aye...... corsa's were built to rival fiestas etc...... cant ever see a bloody metro being any of there concerns
Small cars, any car, was designed for the reason the manuacturers built them.... Many young people cannot afford to get car they really want.... so they do the best (in there eyes) to enhance what they have. If that means engine conversions etc so be it
a corsa with a 2.0 turbo will be alot cheaper than a new Evo for example.
PS..... even if i was offered a metro, i still wouldnt take it! To me that is a shite car, and i'm going to vent my feelings as users do on here! Give me a pic, i will post it and slag you off

Ok, my metro is rusty , old and has a dash that is a refugee from 1987 but look at my sig, it's got 15 brake over the corsa 1.2 (look in parkers), moves pretty well for what it is and the engine is a real gem. Peak power at 6000RPM, 5 gears and the handling has kept me out of hedges umpteen times.
You want a pic, FINE, look in the member's cars section then, i've got three
P.S. What motorports champs has the corsa B actually won? In the 80's metty turbos were the ones to beat in their class! The 6R4 (well that was more maestro than metro....) and also in 1991/92, which other car company was offering 16v engines in their superminis?(Metty GTi 16v)
