I was driving home the other day and saw this lad in an old car (looked a bit like a triumph vitesse) and it looked in mint condition, with some alloys like the old mini cooper lites on. it looked mint - Bright red convertible.

What old cars look good when they're in good condition with a good pair of alloys on - Like Jamie Olivers (twat) VW Camper?

This is my current restoration project, 1970 Triumph Herald 13/60. Has K&N, rebuilt engine, 421 manifold and complete s/s exhaust... Sounds gorgeous...

Just bodywork to do really, some welding and then respray etc....

Not bad for 100 quid off ebay!

Just been looking at Triumph spitfires/stags. they look the kind of thing i want, but the stags engines are too big i think. it wont be for a couple of years yet, but i can dream.

what have you had to do to the herald?

Engine runs perfect, bit of an oil leak but thats it... started first time after 4 years of not running...

Have to replace some panels, take the body off and do some welding work to the chassis... General suspension overhaul etc...
