thats really really bad mate. I do feel for the people he left behind.

The chap could have been coming back from the World Superbikes at brands Hatch today. 1000s of bikers travel up to see it. could have been the reason Matt H saw a fair few on the motorways today.

To be honest many bikers are very very careful. But if one thing goes wrong when your on a bike, your gonig to come of and end up in a bad way.

The only reason i asked adam because some people will be freaked out be a dead person on the side of the road. I know there was nothing you could have done.

thats very true drew. i try to keep an eye out for bikes as much as i can.

But because they accelerate so quick they can come up on you and suprise you.

i agree with mav, its an awful way to go

Not nessasarily, i had someone spin there car into a ditch on the M4 one evening, as i was doing 70mph and driving my truck i was past it before he came to a stop. Wasnt a deep ditch and the car didnt go all the way in, i didnt stop. Not that i didnt want to but what could i have done? The artic behind me stopped along with 6 or 7 cars but it gets to a point where you have to think do i really need to stop? If theres no-one else around then fine but you dont really need a dozen or so people stopping and adding to the confusion of what just happened. If was really bad and severe injuries may have occured then fine.

Last thing you want is some ijut looking at the gaggle of cars/people on the hardshoulder and losing control cos he aint concentrating

youre a wanker !
some of them thoughtless feks as you say might of been going to hospital because they were going for cancer treatment and didnt have long to live.
just because one person crashes on his motorbike doesnt mean the whole world has to stop, but fair enough my sympathy goes out to his family.
