couple of weeks ago i posted that i had a knocking coming from the front of the car.

which i could feel in the pedals when pulling away of braking..

if you imagine a heavy ball bearing in a square box when you brake it goes forward and when you go it shoots back.

thats wat its kinda doing..

anyone have anyidea what it could be?

might have to take it into vauxhall this weekend and see if they can find anything

Mate had this once in his corsa B, a golf ball had got stuck in a little ally bit by the side of his seat and obviously it rolled back and forth making a nasty nocking sound

he was a mechanic too so it drove him mad trying to find what was knocking!

Seriously tho your over-sized wheels and pony bodykit probably means your balljoints and suspension are knackered and your wheels will all fall off resulting in a messy crash

probably best to get it looked at !

jack up the front of the car, try shake the sheel in dif. directions - just check for play.

balljoint if its gone it may of split or it might not be visible (the damage that is)

i know when mine was knocking under breaking, the top mounts were loose, but when the car was stood you couldnt tell, only by really shaking the wheel when jacked up could i see the tops moving slightly.

Mr.Redman, you should learn the art of writing instead of resorting to insults. You only come across as an idiot.

PaulW, as to my enquiry regarding an E-Tech spoiler no doubt amuses you, well, driving around in a 'Corsa LS' is far more shameworthy. Looking good!
