easily get an s14 for £3.5k (not an s14a, unless it's a right dog).
insurance group on them is 17.
2ltr corsa would be based on a quote from grp15, then extra because it's modified, so you could probably insure one.
possibly a little longer than a cally, but not by any massive amount.

do it

s13 is the old one
s14 is fairly old now (up to '97 ?)
s14a is the more current one with much nicer front end, similar rear. up to 2001 i think.
s15 was never officially imported, but there are a few in britain. not a chance at £3.5k though.

holy crap! 2000 pounds? that's like 1 000 000 Rands South African! lol....well it feels like it...

anyways, 2000pounds should add up to more than R20 000 which is good for a HUGE turbo install....

yip...installing turbo's to car's in this country is VERY expensive because not alot of people here know how to do it...

heck...I don't know how to add a turbo to my 1.6 8valve and I can't think that it's difficuly. oh well....extorsion is what we run on here.

id actually buy a Astra GSI or Golf G60 then spend the leftovers on making it go that bit quicker

whoever mentioned spending 3.5k on a 106 rallye needs their head looked at
