MSN are stopping you using 7, and forcing you to downgrade to 6.2 for the moment, due to the vulnerabilities in the Winks feature.

basically its all down to the winks problem, where someone can create a animated gif picture and get it run for ever...then it causes your computer running out of memory etc etc and causes much problems so microshite are forcing everyone off (with the exception of those that ran the CVR patch ) msn7 and back down to 6.9. But if you try an log in with 7, it will ask you to download the previous version, but it wont install because 7 is already. So you have to piss about uninstalling ,downloading and the reinstalling

so run the patch ppl !!!!

Clearly theres going to be problems. Msn have not released Msn 7.0 the final version officially. I have stuck to 6.3 which is the latest official Msn. No problems!

do a google for that file mate, and drop it in the same folder as the patch programme - its because it was written in visual basic, so relies on a few other files

i have winks disabled to stop any pikey screwing with my machine and soooo far its stable and i dont have any problems what so ever
