I had a quote on the Jordan through Tesco - £800FC with SP30
But when I put the mods on (SS Back box, Filter, De-cat & Carbon Bonnet) it jumped up to £1300
Gonna go with Adrian Flux - £870 FC all mods declared

fcuked me over good & proper

was insured on my old corsa, all well & good - then about 10 months through the policy I get a letter saying that my policy had been cancelled & I owed them £190 + £250 charges...

I was like WTF who cancelled it & they said I had rang them to cancel it 2 weeks earlier to cancel

Tried saying I didnt & it must be them that fooked it up & after aboue 3 weeks they decided to agree but i told em shove it up there arse anyways as in that 3 weeks they refused to cover me so I had no car & also lost a years NCB because of there fcuk up

They're cheap and for me didnt mind mods etc.

BUT, they're customer service is crap. When i took out my policy and sent my docs to them they managed to lose my CAT 1 alarm cert and proof of no claims.

They were sent reg post so i know they recieved em but they denied it was their fault and when i couldnt provide any other proof of my NCD they whacked a £980 premium on top of what i was already paying as i was technically a new driver.

Conmplained etc as my monthly payment had shot up to nearly £190. Demanded they cancel my policy buy had to pay a months premium as i had it for less than a year. They wouldnt let me pay the normal £48 payment, they wanted the £190odd. I cancelled all the DD's so they couldnt take the money and wrote letters to Tesco and the insurance ombudsman. Only then did they relent and cancel my policy for nowt and refund me a months payment.

They are also shite slow at sending out paperwork

Tesco were cheaper than everyone else for me, £800 cheaper than Elephant and that's with 1 years NCB . In the end, stayed with Directline cause that was cheaper still. And to prove your NCB, you send your last insurance certificate/insurance renewal form.
