right my mates got a 1.4 8v nova sri engine, will this go in my lil ol 1.2 8v spin????
i dont really want to have to change the loom but i think i may have to????
the 1.2 8v is single point injection?

will it go into the corsa without to much bother?????

it'll go in fine... u'll need engine loom and ecu ure gearbox and shafts should fit fine

would it be worth changing the loom and ecu though, dont you have to rip all the dash out and everything though?

no... u disconnect it from under the drivers kickpanel and pull it thru to the bay

You might need the fuel pump too if your friends car is an MPi as your engine is an SPi.

yeh i know that but obviously the corsas superior and i wasnt sure if it would go straight in to the engine bay, so is that a goo buy rngine wise then,way i thought of it anything has to be better thn my hairdryer on wheels?

my advice to u is no matter what engine u put in check the seals and gaskets first

Never take an engine out, then re-fit it with same oil pump, thats what bodge job garages do.
